This is my favourite format to see the Eve Selis Band play. Two great guitarists, who also provide excellent harmonies, to accompany Eve’s ‘lemonade and whiskey’ voice and charismatic performance. Being six-months pregnant might reduce the energy that Eve is able to put into her performance, but it certainly does not reduce the power of her singing, nor the spell that she casts over her audience. As is usually the case with audiences for the events we host, probably half the audience were unfamiliar with Eve prior to the show. By the interval I think everyone counted themselves as fans and CDs started to fly!
